Training on clay Ganesh making

Mancherial: As per the guidelines of the District Collector, R V Karnan, the forest and education departments and National Green Corp (NGC) had organised a training programme for school students on making clay Ganesh idols at forest office here on Wednesday.

District Education Officer Dr Ravikanth Rao was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he explained the process of preparing clay idols and their uses. “NGC Project Officer Vidya Sagar will train students to prepare idols.

About one lakh idols will be ready by Thursday for distribution,” he added. NGC committee members G Yogeshwar, school students and staff took part in the programme.
