New Delhi: Aravind Dharmapuri, son of TRS senior leader and MP, D Srinivas, was closeted with BJP leaders here on Saturday to chalk out the details of his joining the party on September 17 (Hyderabad Liberation Day).

He met Ram Madhav and Ram Lal, General Secretaries of BJP, at the party headquarters this morning and discussed with them the preparations for the upcoming Nizamabad public meeting scheduled for September 17 to mark the Hyderabad Liberation Day.

It is learnt that apart from discussing his joining, Aravind reportedly discussed "Operation TRS" - the plan to make forays into the families of TRS leaders by inducting the second generation or younger generation leaders. It is said that Aravind is "in touch" with the wards of several TRS leaders who could play spoilers in the elections by joining the ranks of the BJP.

Ram Madhav has been assigned North Telangana activities of the BJP recently and is very keen to revive the party chances in the five LS constituencies there.

As part of Mission - 350, the party is focusing more on 125 LS seats in which it had been in the second or third positions at the hustings. Senior BJP leaders have been chosen to work in these constituencies to ensure party's victory in the 2019 general elections.

Ram Madhav has been made in-charge of Adilabad, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Zaheerbad and Medak LS constituencies. Since then he has embarked on tours of Telangana.
