Chinna Reddy, Wanaparthy MLA, took part in the Swachh Bharat Programme and cleaned class rooms of Women’s Degree College (Urdu) on Sunday.
Wanaparthy: Chinna Reddy, Wanaparthy MLA, took part in the Swachh Bharat Programme and cleaned class rooms of Women’s Degree College (Urdu) on Sunday. Reddy himself took the broom and cleaned the cupboards, desks and floor of all the class rooms along with Congress activists and other senior leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, Chinna Reddy said, “Earlier, the children of Urdu medium degree college were facing problems due to no proper college building. To solve this problem, we have spoken to the principal of Government Women’s Degree College and allocated the old building for the Urdu medium degree students. However, as the class rooms were in a shabby condition we have taken the festival holidays as an opportunity and conducted Swachh Bharat programme and cleaned the entire college premises.
Our aim is to ensure the students should learn in a clean and neat environment.” Earlier, the girl students were facing lot of problems due to untidy conditions in the college premises and were subjected to various diseases.
Having learned about the un cleanliness environment in the college, the MLA, along with Congress activists and senor district leaders Shankar Prasad, District Congress President, Srinivas Goud, PCC Vice President, and other congress leaders Tirupatiah, Kiran, Dhanalaxmi, Ragivenu, Bhramamchari, Venkatesh and others took part in the Swatch Bharat programme.
