Mushrooming Private schools offering different curricula all over the Telangana state are looking for a distinct way to make each one’s school different from the other. Survival of the fittest/ strongest depends on its adaptability to novel ways and methods of teaching learning, processes and faculty.

Information technology exploited this situation with several software solutions and interventions to support teaching learning, processes and methodologies. Yet schools that are distinct are talked about and demanded by the society (leaving aside the fee structure and affordability). After reviewing the education systems all over the country, the author has concluded that it’s the adoption and encouragement of Creativity in school.

I am here to define Innovation and deliberate the reason for it to become necessity in education at school level. To live a more fulfilling life, to develop empowered entrepreneurs, world leaders, policy makers; innovative thinkers, change agents, we require Creativity/ innovation. Terms like creativity and innovation are used often overlapping because of their preceding each other like science and technology.

God has created each living being as unique individual with unique capabilities. That might have been a real difficult task in creation of existing or nonexisting in the world where none resemble the other. Every one of us whether we are academic, home maker, cook, scientist or an artist or an engineer rise in the morning with a new idea of making things either different or easier for our appreciation or personal satisfaction but many a time are afraid of implementing or sharing because of rebuke from society.

All of us see the earth but none of us thought of neither rotation nor shape, all of us see apple on the tree but none of us thought of gravity, we see the birds take off flight but never thought of the plane. Then why were these individuals different from us? They had a keen curiosity to find and courage to explore the cause. We face intertwined socio-economic challenges and agree that innovation is the key word for sustenance. My aim through the series of articles would be to mentor and support the academia.

We are all convinced that the world in future will increasingly be divided between high imagination enabling countries which encourage and enable imagination and “extras’’ of the people and low imagination enabling countries, which suppress or simply fail to develop their people’s creative capacities and abilities to spark new ideas, start up new industries and nurture their own ‘’Extra’’.

America and Japan have been world’s leading high imagination enabling countries and thus leading in their economy. Kaizen is the practice of continuous improvement. Kaizen was originally introduced to the West by Masaaki Imai in his book Kaizen: The Key to Japan's Competitive Success in 1986. Today kaizen is recognized worldwide as an important pillar of an organization's long-term competitive strategy.Innovation is the catch word for a sustainable tomorrow.

Off late I had noticed that several organisations have started thinking of taking the idea bank which is original to a child and encouraging to sustain their curiosity with scholarships, funding etc. Time has come for Indian education system to take the lead as in many of the leading companies, organisations, abroad or industries, it’s the Indian innovation that found a place and have been leading them with their innovations. Today’s SunderPitchai, Indira Nuyi, Satya Nadella, and many others leave no scope to captivate Indian Innovation.
