Samsung, the South Korean company, has fused old school and next-gen tech with its latest offering, the Galaxy W789. It features an old style flip phone design with dual touch screens and has been launched in China recently by the company.

The phone sports two 3.3-inch TFT touchscreens with 480x320p resolution. The company has placed hardware keys like Back, Options and Home in the alphanumeric keypad for the inner display, while the other one has three buttons below the screen. Android 4.1 (Jellybean) has been selected as the OS for the phone and it packs quite a punch with its 1.2GHz quad-core processor.

In terms of battery, the company has selected a 1,500mAh one while the rear camera is 5MP. Connectivity options in this dual-sim smartphone include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0. Though the market has several touch screen phones with Qwerty keyboards, Samsung’s new Galaxy W789 is the only handset with an alphanumeric key pad.
