Preetham, Harshith in title clash

Fifths seeded V Preetham disposed off top seeded R Ruchit Goud in the Under-12 boys semifinals of the Amar Bio-organics India Pvt Ltd-AITA Talent Series Junior Ranking Tennis Tournament-2013 for Under-12 and 14 boys and girls, being organised by Surya Tennis Foundation at Pallavi School playground in Bowenpally on Friday.

Kosaraju Harshith, seeded four, downed West Bengal’s second seed Anurag Agarwal. In yet another major upset, third seeded Omer Mishgahn defeated top seed Juveria Fatima to enter the finals of the Under-14 girls’ singles category while unseeded D Sumskrithi sent fifth seed Avanthika Reddy out of the Under-12 semifinals.
