Top cueists for New Club snooker

The finest of cueists from across the State, including Lucky Vatnani, will be seen in action at New Club in Marredpally from October 19. To be conducted by the club, the Laxmi Narusu New Club Open snooker tournament in memory of the father of former Test cricketer, M L Jaisimha, will conclude on November 1.

The top 100 players will vie for honours following the confirmation of entries from clubs and associations that are based in Hyderabad like AP Billiards and Snooker association, JHIC, Nizam Club, FMC, Deccan Club Zoroastrian Club, Secunderabad Club, FNCC, Chiran For and Boats Club apart from the host.

Outstation entries are coming from LVR & Sons Club, Waltair Club, Town Hall of Kakinada, Andhra Gymkhana, IBP Century Club from Visakhapatnam and Cosmopolitan Club, Bhimavaram. Some of the big names include Panduranga Rao, I V Rajiv, Vishal Agarwal, Vamshi Krishna Reddy, K Srinivas and James Sunder.
