As part of the World Heritage Week celebrations, the Salar Jung Museum is organising a photo exhibition of monuments. In association with Srushti Foundation, the museum is showcasing select heritage structures of Hyderabad.
Ramesh Kumar Surapaneni, founder of Srushti Foundation said, “It is an endeavour to increase awareness among the public on monuments and the need to protect them for posterity. We are exhibiting 75 select monuments of the city.”
Some of the monuments on display are Mahboob Mansion, Basheer Bagh Palace, Bellavista, Victoria Orphanage, Clock towers of the city, Holy trinity Church, St John’s Church, Guru Dwaras of Ameerpet and Attapur and other important monuments including photos of Osman Sagar and Himayath Sagar.
The exhibition is open till November 25 at the Abbas Yar Jung Hall.
