Three days of ‘Navatram Natyatarangam’

The spirit of Telugu culture and tradition is going to embrace classical dance lovers as Silicon Andhra is coming out with its fourth edition of Kuchipudi Dance Performances, ‘Navatram Natyatarangam’. The event would be held on December 26 and 28 at Gachibowli Stadium. It is going to be gala year-ender for classical dance enthusiasts. Anand Kuchibhotla, the founder and chairman of Silicon Andhra, made an announcment about the three-day dance festival at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan where D Purandeswari, MoS, Commerce; Ponnala Lakshmiah, IT Minister, N T Chowdary, chairman, Swiss Group along with several Kuchpudi dancers were also present.

This is an international Kuchipudi dance convention where 10,000 dancers from different countries like the USA, UK, Dubai, Russia, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Mauritius and few others will participate along with Indian dancers. Apart from the performance, dance connoisseurs and enthusiasts would be allowed to take part in the interactive session with the Kuchipudi experts who would be discussing about the technical aspects of the dance form. One of the special attractions of this dance fest is the grand group recital, where thousands of international dancers will perform on a few select pieces.

The organisation has taken the initiative to practice, encourage and promote Telugu literature, culture and tradition, not only in India but also abroad, especially to reach out to the new generation. They launched their official website ‘www.kuchipudi.siliconandhra.org’ to make all their culture related documents and information available globally. Apart from that, they launched a VCD titled ‘Mahabrinda Natyam’.
