In order to clear extra rush of passenger traffic, the South Central Railway (SCR) will extend the run of special trains between Aurangabad-Tirupati to four more services.

In order to clear extra rush of passenger traffic, the South Central Railway (SCR) will extend the run of special trains between Aurangabad-Tirupati to four more services.

Train No. 07405 Aurangabad-Tirupati Special train will depart Aurangabad at 3 pm on November 21 and 28 (Fridays) and will arrive at Secunderabad at 1.25 am. It will leave Secunderabad at 1.45 am and arrive in Tirupati at 3.30 pm the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07406 Tirupati-Aurangabad Special train will depart Tirupati at 5.10 pm on November 22 and 29 (Saturdays) and will arrive in Secunderabad at 8.25 am. It will start back to Tirupati at 8.50 am and arrive in Aurangabad at 8 pm the next day.

These special trains will stop at Jalna, Parbhani, Purna, Nanded, Mudhked, Basar, Nizamabad, Kamareddi, Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Venkatagiri, Srikalahasti and Renigunta stations in both directions.

These special trains will consist of 15 coaches, viz. o¬ne AC III Tier, six sleeper class, six general second class and two general second class, luggage cum brake van coaches.

Sabarimalai special trains

SCR will run ten Sabarimalai special trains from Kachiguda, Narsapur, and Kakinada to Kollam and back to clear the extra rush of passengers and pilgrims heading to Sabarimalai.

Advance reservations for these special trains commenced from Wednesday.

Train No. 07115 Kachiguda-Kollam special train will depart at 10.35 am on November 23 and 27 and arrive at Kollam at 5.40 pm the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 07116 Kollam-Kachiguda Sabarimalai special train will depart at 9.45 pm on November 24 and 28, and arrive at Kachiguda at 2.35 am the next day.

The special trains to Sabarimalai will stop at Sitafalmandi, Malkajgiri, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Sattenpalli, Guntur, Tenali, Nidubrolu, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur, Sri Kalahasti, Renigunta, Tirupati, Chittoor, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam in both the directions.

Train No. 07211 Kakinada-Kollam special train will depart at 10.30 pm on November 23 and arrive at Kollam at 11.45 pm the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 07212 Kollam-Kakinada Sabarimalai special train will depart at 01.45 am on November 25 and arrive in Kakinada at 4 am the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Samalkot, Anaparti, Rajahumdry, Nidadavolu, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Nidubrolu, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Sri Kalahasti, Renigunta, Tirupati, Chittoor, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam in both the directions.

Train 07217/07218 Narsapur-Kollam-Narsapur Sabarimalai Special Trains (via. Gudivada, Vijayawada, Renigunta, Tirupati, Katpadi, Salem) (04 services):

Train No. 07217 Narsapur-Kollam special train will depart Narsapur at 01:30 pm on 25th and 28th November, 2014 and arrive Kollam at 05:40 pm on the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07218 Kollam-Narsapur Sabarimalai special train will depart Kollam at 09:45 pm on 26th and 29th November, 2014 and arrive Naraspur at 09:50 pm on the next day. Enroute, these special trains will stop at Palakollu, Viravasaram, Bhimavaram, Bhimavaram Town, Akivedu, Kaikalur, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Tenali, Nidubrolu, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur, Sri Kalahasti, Renigunta, Tirupati, Chittoor, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam in both the directions.

All these Sabarimalai special trains will consist of II AC, III AC, Sleeper Class and, General Second Class coaches.
