Telangana tourism introduces Sabarimala package tour
The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) introduced Hyderabad-Sabarimala package tour to Sabarimala and other temples on Sunday. It was launched by G Kamala Vardhana Rao, secretary (tourism), Government of Kerala. The seven-day tour starts from Hyderabad and would cover Mantralayam, Srirangapatnam, Guruvayur, Palani, Madurai and Tirupati.

The tariff (excluding food and entry tickets) is Rs 8,600 (adult) and Rs 6,880 (child). Volvo coach and for non-AC Hitech is priced at Rs 6,800 (adult) and Rs 5,440 (child). The tour will be operated every Monday during the Sabarimala season depending on the demand from tourists. The tourists can book seats through the online reservation system www.telanganatourism.gov.in, or at counters of the TSTDC and authorised booking agents.
