Nearly 300 kids aged between 5 and 15 will participate in the third regional art competition titled ‘Kolor Champ 2015’ that will be held from 9.30 am at Manjeera Mall in Kukatpally on Sunday. The organiser Global Art is a complete, systematic and efficient art programme with the aim of developing the creative potential of children.
It is currently being run in 15 countries across the world with over 650 centres and has successfully trained over 2.5 lakh children since its inception in Malaysia in 1999. To instill a higher level of artistic appreciation and skill in children, Global Art, Malaysia, has done extensive research in the development of the step-by-step art syllabus, which has been a trendsetter in children's enrichment programmes. 25,000 children are being trained through 130 learning centers across India. It is a one-of-its-kind international creative art programme for children which is designed to optimally use children's inherent love for drawing and colouring to enhance creativity.
