When walls turned artists canvas

More than 60 artists channeled their art on to the walls of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University on Friday. The wall facing the main road was painted with a variety of colours and patterns. ‘Rethinking of Public Space’ was the phrase given to the effort in which eminent artist Laxman Aley also took part. GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar, advisor to the Telangana government Papa Rao viewed the paintings.

Somesh Kumar said that this would be replicated on the walls of different government buildings and one such building wall has been identified at Road No 1, Banjara Hills.
