Indus International students grab top placements and scholarships
Indus International School celebrated the achievement of its students, who won large number of scholarship offers and placement opportunities, announced this year by well-known universities across the world. Of the 37 applicants from class XII, 16 students have collectively garnered scholarship offers worth rupees 11 crore this year.
Hyderabad: Indus International School celebrated the achievement of its students, who won large number of scholarship offers and placement opportunities, announced this year by well-known universities across the world. Of the 37 applicants from class XII, 16 students have collectively garnered scholarship offers worth rupees 11 crore this year. One of the students has also been placed in University of Arts, London which is ranked No. 3 globally among leading fashion institutes.
Nitya, Nirati, Veditha, Sriven and Anurag won top honors for Indus International School, in addition to 100per cent scholarships; these students have received multiple scholarships and placement opportunity. While Nitya, Veditha and Sriven are planning to pursue a degree in Medicine, Nirati wants to pursue Public Relations and Anurag aims to pursue Engineering.
The victorious students expressed their happiness; they said "It was amazing when we heard the news. We jumped with joy and hugged each other before we did anything else. We feel fortunate to have been chosen from a pool of 30,000 students.” The Principal of Indus International School said “We are delighted that majority of our students achieved placements they were ambitious about, their desire to pursue their studies in some of the most prestigious universities in the world has been fulfilled.”
Over one lakh students seek placements and scholarships from prestigious Universities around the world every year. This year, scholars were selected from 30,000 applicants for courses offered by different colleges and universities. Winners are selected based on their academic achievements, personality traits, leadership skills and physical agility, among other factors.
