Best extension scientist award for Dr Karra Madhu

The Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) at Rajendranagar has selected Dr Karra Madhu Babu for the Best Extension Scientist Award. This is the second time the award is being conferred upon Babu. Madhu, who is presently working as an associate professor at the Extension Education Institute (Regional Training Institute of Government of India, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperation, New Delhi), had first received the award during the 45th Annual convocation of Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University for 2011 in Tirupati.
Dr Madhu has worked as an editor for quarterly magazine, Shabari Sravanti of ITDA, Bhadrachalam. He has worked in tribal areas of Khammam district for eight years, before joining the PJTSAU. He was also on the Member First Afro-Asian Games Committee and received appreciation from the then Chef Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh N Chandrababu Naidu in 2003.
