Looking ahead…

There was euphoria and jubilation amongst new and outgoing students of Roots Institutions at the ‘Graduation and Freshers Day’ on Saturday. The convocation ceremony had students being conferred with degrees by Dr A Ashok, Commissioner and Secretary, Board of Intermediate. Maya Padhya, Business Head for Telecom Passive Infrastructure and Shilpa Jain were present at the occasion as well.

The eye-catching moment of the solemn event was the ‘Graduation March’ where dignitaries and students marched in synchrony to the beats of graduation music led by student marshals. Addressing the students Dr Ashok said, “Your institution and faculty have laid a strong foundation for a golden path and it's for each of you to harness the knowledge and your inherent talent to make a mark in the world, full of opportunities. There is no dearth of prospects for industry-ready students and for anyone with the right aptitude.”

The ceremony gave way to Freshers day with the theme “Novato Fiesta" in the afternoon. Electrifying ramp walk by new comers in designer wear raised the temperature, which was further kindled by an exhilarating dance with the theme 'Colors.' Solo performances set the stage on fire with soul lifting performances. The event provided a perfect opportunity for seniors and juniors to mingle and build a bonding of lifetime.
