Rajbhasha Exhibition, a commendable job

The South Central Railway’s (SCR) efforts towards propagating Hindi were appreciated to the fore at the prize distribution ceremony of the ‘Rajbhasha Exhibition’ at Rail Kalarang in Secunderabad recently. Organised by the department’s ‘Rajbhasha Section’, the event displayed technical and cultural items in Hindi, which were enjoyed by the attendees.

Speaking at the award ceremony, General Manager, SCR, Vinod Kumar Yadav said, “This is commendable work, especially the information in Hindi pertaining to public and technical items were attractive.”

The GM appreciated the work exhibited by the departments of Headquarter’s office, all the six Divisions, Workshops and also exhibition stall put up by the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) office National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE).

On the outset Arjun Mundiya, Mukhya Rajbhasha Adhikari and Chief Mechanical Engineer, SCR in his welcome address expressed that organising of such Rajbahsha Exhibition enhances the spirit of competition among the offices. Hindi.

Additional General Manager, SCR AK Gupta appreciated all the participants and expressed the view that something new can be learnt from each other. PK Sangewar, Controller of Stores, Mahboob Ali, Chief Signal & Telecommunications Engineer, NV Ramana Reddy, Chief Personnel Officer, SCR were the judges for the Exhibition. The main attraction was the drama 'Cheenti ki jeet' staged by Vijayawada Division.

The two departments from Headquarters office, the General Administration and Engineering Departments, Hyderabad Division, Lallaguda Workshop and MANAGE office were awarded.

All the Principal Heads of Departments, Divisional Railway Managers, Additional Divisional Railway Managers of Hyderabad & Secunderabad Division and other Officials/Staff were present on the occasion. The programme was compeered by Ratna Mukharji and vote of thanks was delivered by Laxman Shivhare, Senior Rajbhasha Adhikari, SCR.
