Eco-friendly celebrations

Over a hundred enthusiastic members of the ‘Mahaveer International Chapter Udaan’ participated in a plantation drive on Tuesday. Dhammapala and Buddhapala inaugurated the programme and planted saplings.

The event was organised to mark Mahaveer International Foundation Day, which is celebrated on July 4 every year across its 1,000 chapters worldwide. In this regard, chairperson Vineet Giria and team planted saplings at Mahabodhi Budhha Vihar in Mahindra Hills. Later, a meditation session was held for its members.
