It was a snapshot-worthy moment for students of Loyola Academy Degree and PG College at the ‘Lenzcape Photography Festival’ held at the premises in Secunderabad recently.
The event comprised of a photography competition with the theme ‘Growing in India’. Along with an exhibition, there was on-spot photography and workshops arranged for attendees.
G K Rufus, International Photographer and artiste, Arvind Chenji, well-known fashion and celebrity photographer attended the event. The event witnessed more than 400 splendid photographs from all over India and participants from colleges across Hyderabad.
A workshop on Event-based photography was conducted by Ram Nagesh, Chairman of Hyderabad Digital Photography Club. Students also organised an online photography contest called ‘#phontochallenge’, where the phone clicked pictures were uploaded on Facebook and Instagram.
Srinath Chavali was announced as winner for the #phontochallenge. Aman Sharma, Bijo K Joy and Rakesh Kotte were announced as the winners for the theme based photography competition. Rev. Fr. Dr P Anthony, Principal and Rev. Fr. Dr L Joji Reddy, Vice-Principal, along with faculty and parents were also present.
