Kapra: The members of Kapra Small Scale (Micro) Industries Owners Association (KSSIOA) submitted a memorandum to the District Collector M V Reddy urging land allotment for their industrial units.
They contended that they have been supplying their products to major companies including TATA, BHEL, ECIL and NFC. “We are providing direct employment to over 20,000 and indirect employment to 30,000. As we don’t have lands of our own, we aren’t able to get government subsidies and other benefits,” they said.
A S Rao Nagar Corporator Pavani Reddy, association president Pabbu Bala Narasimha Goud and other office bearers were present.
