The Sri Tadbund Veeranjaneya Swamy Devasthanam attracts thousands of devotees not only from the city and neighboring districts but also from other states.

Explaining the significance, the fourth-generation founder’s family member Burugu Veeresham said, “When amavasya and Saturday come together we celebrate brahmotsavam. This is the 42nd brahmotsavam since its inception in 1927.”

On Saturday close to 50,000 devotees visit the temple and a sizable number on Tuesday.

The 42nd brahmotsavams are being celebrated from November 14 to 18. As part of the celebrations, Laksha Naagavalli Dalarchana, 1008 phalarchana and several other poojas would be performed. On November 18, Brahmotsava Abhishekachana and Sri Vari Visharoopa Sandarshanam would be performed in a grand scale.

Special TSRTC buses would be put in service on November 18.
