Counselling dates for PhD admissions sought
Leaders of various students’ unions on Wednesday urged Vice-Chancellor Prof S Ramachandram and OSD Prof T Rama Krishna to announce counseling dates for PhD admissions in the department of social sciences.
Osmania University: Leaders of various students’ unions on Wednesday urged Vice-Chancellor Prof S Ramachandram and OSD Prof T Rama Krishna to announce counseling dates for PhD admissions in the department of social sciences.
They also sought preference for OU students. “Seats should be allocated equally for professors, associate and assistant professors working as guides. “ Eligible assistant professors working on contract basis should also be appointed as guides, they urged. Responding positively to the requests, VC and OSD said that they would send orders to concerned departments.
OU Student JAC Chairman Chanagani Dayakar, Madiga Navanirmana Samithi president P Nagesh Madiga, AISF state assistant secretary R N Shankar, TRSV OU leaders M Karunakar, student leader B Krishna Goud, BSF leader K Venkat, OU JAC leader Dinesh Goud and others were present.
