Efforts to protect SC, ST Atrocities (Prevention) Act
A meeting of Dalit and Girijan intellectuals is to be held on the OU campus on May 6 as part of the efforts to protect the SC, ST Atrocities (Prevention) Act, announced MRPS founder-president Mandakrishna Madiga and Delit Sena State president J B Raju on Wednesday.
Osmania University: A meeting of Dalit and Girijan intellectuals is to be held on the OU campus on May 6 as part of the efforts to protect the SC, ST Atrocities (Prevention) Act, announced MRPS founder-president Mandakrishna Madiga and Delit Sena State president J B Raju on Wednesday. They released the posters on the meeting, along with several Dalit and Girijan leaders, in the Arts College.
They told press persons that former CJ of Supreme Court K G Balakrishnan, retired judge Chandrayya, former CS of Maharashtra N Rama Rao, retired IAS officer Koppula Raju, Bharat Bhushan (IRTS) and A Murali (IAS) were among those expected to attend. The two leaders stated that a ‘Sihma Garjana’ to calling for Dalit-Girijan unity would be organised in Warangal on May 27.
