Municipal authorities instructed the restaurant owners, hoteliers and Bhatti organisers to maintain sanitation and follow the norms while installing Haleem Bhattis across the city. A review meeting was conducted in with all the stakeholders on Friday by the GHMC authorities.

Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin asked the restaurant owners not to encroach roads and lanes while installing Haleem Bhattis and asked them to cooperate in maintaining the 'Best Livable City' status of Hyderabad.
He said that sanitation and hygiene should be maintained in the making of Haleem and any other food item during Ramzan. The meeting was held to discuss the sanitation and other necessary measures in the wake of Ramzan. The month of Ramzan is expected to commence from May 17 tentatively.
