Corporator alerts officials on public problems
Local corporator Pavani Reddy on Monday acted swiftly and instructed officials to take action on various problems at Sashikanth Nagar. Colony people complained her about leakage from 25-year old PVC pipeline and street lights failure.

Colony people complained her about leakage from 25-year old PVC pipeline and street lights failure. The corporator called concerned officials and toured in the colony.
Water works general manager Amarender Reddy and Project divisional manager Krishna assured to supply water by the month end and replacement of pipelines. DE Balakrishna and AE Santosh informed the corporator that within two months they are going to lay roads at water stagnated areas and BT roads at remaining areas.
The officials said that they will send proposals to higher authorities as early as possible. The corporator instructed concerned officials to fix street lights problem within 24 hours and removal of garbage at the earliest. Sanitary Supervisor Dhana Goud, Colony president Ramachandra Rao, residents Narendra Reddy, Kishore, Madhu, Manipal Reddy were present.
