Officials turn blind eye to Balram Nagar Nala plight
Even after huge Swachh Bharat awareness campaigns led by Telangana State government, the public still continue to do the same of throwing the litter into nalas. At the same time, the officials remained to their seats without instructing the workers concerned to clear the nala from accumulated garbage.

The garbage in the nala at Balram Nagar went unnoticed by the Malkajgiri municipality. For years now, no attempt was made to clear it and officials maintained silence to the action of people using nala as a trash bin.
The locals and commuters as well are suffering with the foul smell emanating from the nala and despite many representations the authorities concerned didn’t take up the issue to clear the garbage. Few local claimed that, “The Municipality should immediately resolve the issue and launch Swachh Bharat campaigns to bring in awareness among locals who indulge in turning the nala and roads into waste bins.”
