Hyderabad: The highest day temperature of 43 degrees Celsius was recorded in Medak and Adilabad districts on Friday. It was two degrees Celsius more than that registered on Thursday, the Met department bulletin said.

The maximum temperatures across the State registered an appreciable rise ranging from 2.1 to 4 degrees Celsius in some parts and a marked increase by 4.1 degrees Celsius or more in other areas. The bulletin warned that thunderstorms with gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in all Telangana districts on May 26.

It said rain occurred at isolated places, with Hakimpet IAF Station in Ranga Reddy district recording 1 cm of rain. The forecast said light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places from May 26 to 29. No large change during the period May 30-June 1 is the weather outlook.
