Hyderabad: The Telangana Employees’ Joint Action Committee for Justice on Saturday submitted a representation to Education Minister Kadiam Srihari suggesting some guidelines for the general transfer of junior lecturers and principals of junior colleges, with stress on transparency.

The committee leaders headed by convener Mohd Ismail, made suggestions like giving points to office-bearers of the recognised unions, instead of giving retention, conducting physical counselling and display of all vacancies transparently. The leaders laid stress on taking stringent action on those
violating norms.

The leaders who met Srihari in his Secretariat chambers were Praveen Kumar, Chitram Yadagiri, P Srinivas, Dr A A Khan, Ravinder and Mehra. The minister assured the committee to consider the suggestions sympathetically.
