Local MLA K P Vivekanand on Monday attended the Iftar arranged by Muslims in Masjid-e-Umre Farooq, Ambedkarnagar, in Gajularamaram. Addressing the gathering, he observed that Bakrid festival symbolised brotherhood and religious tolerance and that Hyderabad was well known for its ‘Ganga Jamuna Tehzib’.

Addressing the gathering, he observed that Bakrid festival symbolised brotherhood and religious tolerance and that Hyderabad was well known for its ‘Ganga Jamuna Tehzib’.

The MLA stated that ‘unity in diversity was laudable that it was a matter of pleasure that we are living in such society’. Among those present were Corporator Ravula Seshagiri, Nawab, Singaram Mallesh.
