SCR holds safety awareness programmes
On the occasion of International Level Crossing day on Thursday, Secunderabad Division of South Central Railway conducted several programmes throughout the Division to create public awareness on the precautions to be observed at Railway Level Crossings.

As a part of level crossing safety campaign a drama was presented at Cherlapalli Railway Station, Level Crossing Gate to a huge gathering. Amit Varadan, Divisional Railway Manager; Shailendra Singh; D A Subramanyam and K Bala Subramanyam, Additional Divisional Railway Managers along with K L Meena, Senior Divisional Safety Officer and other senior officers were present and delivered messages of safety.
A safety seminar was organised at Vikarabad Railway Station in which over 300 employees and public took part. Awareness campaigns were also conducted at all major stations like Kazipet, Ramagundam, Bellampalli, Khammam etc.,
About 20 lakhs SMS messages were sent to road vehicle users & general public and about 30,000 safety awareness pamphlets were also distributed to road users across Secunderabad Division on the occassion of International Level Crossing Day.
