Old City heritage structures getting makeover

Charminar: Many architectural structures in Old City are getting repaired and renovated by the authorities concerned.

The repair and restoration work at Mahboob Chowk clock tower began two months ago. The scaffolding has been erected around the clock tower and the top of the structure has been restored so far. The 100-year-old structure is one among the several iconic places in the city though not a listed archaeological structure. The clock tower was constructed along with a mosque near to it.
