Sabjimandi: Members of the Gangaputra Sangham on Sunday organised a protest programme at the local bus-stand opposing the controversial comments of finance minister Etala Rajender that the Mudiraj community has total power over tanks. They burnt Eatala’s effigy and demanded his dismissal from the Cabinet.
The sangham leaders, including Gandla Niranjan, asserted that the minister was making such comments for the benefit of the Mudiraj community. He warned that the Gangaputra community would teach a lesson to the TRS party in the ensuing elections.
