Narayanakhed: The students are facing hardships in commuting to their schools in the absence of a bus service between Raipalli and Narayanakhed. During the past decade, several protests have been staged for a bus service, but the officials did not respond.
Local MLA Bhupal Reddy promised a bus service two years ago to a group of protesters near his office, but it in vain. The villagers are demanding the authorities to deploy a bus service operating two trips daily – one in the morning and another in the evening. At least 150 students commute to Narayanakhed from Marpalli, Pocharam, Rudraram, Pagadipalli and Antaram villages.
