Musheerabad: The Minority Gurukul students in Bagh Llimgampally of Ramnagar division are facing severe hardships on account of the alleged negligent attitude of GHMC officials in failing to lift garbage for the last one week in front of the institution. This has given rise to unbearable foul smell, fleas and mosquitoes. There is a danger of epidemics spreading on account of the monsoon.

The principal told The Hans India that the GHMC staff had failed in clearing the garbage even after several complaints. On their part, the civic officials maintain that the dustbin has been located near the school gate for the last 30 years and that it would continue to be there. The principal while renewing the appeal to GHMC to shift the dustbin from the spot sought a quick response so as to prevent the students from getting afflicted with ailments.

Hemalata, AMHO, told THI that that the staff has been regularly removing garbage. When showed the WhatsApp snap of the piled-up garbage she stated that it had not been brought to her notice. However, she promised to immediately clear it.
