Musheerabad: Demanding identity cards, pensions and opportunities in government campaign programmes, Oggu artists to stage dharna at State Language and Culture director’s Office on August 10.
State committee of Telangana Oggu Katha, Janapada Kalakarula Sangham decided the programme in a meeting here on Tuesday.
Sangham president K Satyanarayana, general secretary addressing the gathering said that the online system meant for issuing identity cards giving lot of trouble to uneducated artists.
Though applied months ago cards not issued, they lamented.
The leaders appealed the artists to make the dharna a grand success.
