More than 100 surgeons from various parts of Hyderabad and Telangana along with large number of medical students attended the workshop.
Professor and Head, Department of Surgical Oncology from AIIMS, Dr SVS Deo addressed the multitude of medical professional with presentation on various aspects of the subject. Expert surgeons have demonstrated performing surgeries that were being broadcast live into the auditorium in order to present the various techniques and practices from across country.
Chairman of Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, Nandamuri Balakrishna intonated the organisation’s commitment towards excellence in providing world class healthcare to poor patients and its focus on undertaking research, He assured that the knowledge gained by faculty of the hospital would be spread through various academic activities.
Veteran doctors Dr Tulasi Devi Polavarapu, Dr TS Rao, Dr N Bheerappa, Dr Jagdishwar Gajagowni Goud, Dr B Umakanth Goud, Dr Chandra CK Naidu and Dr Nisha Hariharan were present on the occasion.
