L B Nagar: One more flyover is coming up from Kamineni Hospital to L B Nagar. Last week, a flyover was thrown open to the public which culminates at Kamineni Hospital. The new flyover is coming up from Kamineni Hospital and would end at L B Nagar junction, a one km distance.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has decided to construct a 12m- width long flyover from Kamineni Hospital to L B Nagar. The construction is to be completed by October and the flyover to be built under the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP).
P V Krishna Rao executive engineer said, “The GHMC project authorities sanctioned Rs 50 cr for the L B Nagar flyover construction work was started in May2017 and we are planning to complete the work by this October.” “The width of flyover would be 12m. We are planning to do this flyover as two ways passing by this 30-40% of traffic will reduce near L B Nagar Junction,” he added.
