Agricultural University signs Memorandum of Understanding with NAARM
The Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University PJTSAU on Thursday signed a MoU Memorandum of Understanding with National Academy of Agricultural Research Management NAARM, a nationallevel research centre also located in Rajendranagar
Rajendranagar: The Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) on Thursday signed a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), a national-level research centre also located in Rajendranagar.
At an event organised at PJTSAU’s Committee Hall (administrative building), in the presence of Vice Chancellor, Dr V Praveen Rao, Registrar, Dr S Sudheer Kumar and Dr C H Srinivasa Rao, Director NAARM signed and exchanged the documents.
Speaking on the occasion, Praveen Rao called upon the students to come up with models with the help of facilities available at the University. He said that NAARM would be providing support to students for acquiring expertise in the field, besides gaining experience. According to him, the NAARM would be helping in marketing of produce from Millet Incubation Centre at their campus.
He explained that this MoU would help those who want to get the knowhow of business and marketing in the agriculture sector. Through this MoU both the institutions would be mutually benefitted, he felt. The programme was attended by higher officials, scientist of food and nutrition wing and Millets Incubation Centre, besides NAARM officials.
