Congress corporators lend a helping hand

Hyderabad: Moved by the plight of pilgrims from the State, who are stranded in Uttarakhand floods, Congress corporators and three co-option members of the party decided to donate their one month salary to Chief Minister Relief Fund. A delegation led by Diddi Ram Babu, party floor leader in the corporation, met commissioner M T Krishna Babu in his chambers on Tuesday and handed over a memorandum in this connection. The list included former mayor Banda Karthika Reddy, deputy mayor G Raj Kumar and others. Later talking to reporters, Ram Babu expressed his profound grief to the victims of the natural calamity.
