Hyderabad: In what can be called as one of the hectic schedules of a political career, hundreds of eminent personalities from all walks of life and varied sectors, organisations and entities called on Modi at Park Hyatt Hotel. Earlier, Modi arrived at the hotel at 10.20 am after landing in Begumpet airport. CEOs of companies, hospitals, media outlets of the state had a meeting with the chief minister. Similarly, lawyers, doctors, members of film fraternity, retired bureaucrats of different departments and many politicians including BJP MLAs of the state met the chief minister at the hotel.

They include Manda Krishna Madiga of Madiga Reservations Porata Samiti (MRPS), R Krishna of AP state BC Welfare Association, Bellaya Naik president of Lambada Hakkula Porata Samiti (LHPS), Rajesh of FICCI, film producers D Suresh Babu, Murali Mohan, C Kalyan Babu and Ashok Kumar, Dil Raju, movie artists Krishnam Raju, Kota Srinivas Rao, Mohan Babu, Bala Krishna Ravi Teja, Suman, Gowtami, Jagapathi Babu, AVS, Manchu Laxmi, Rana, comedian Ali, directors K Raghavendra Rao, Ram Gopal Varma, Puri Jagannadh, music director M M Keeravan and former Union Home Secretary K Padmanabhaiah, ex-DGP Gopinath Reddy, former VSNL Chairman T Hanuman Chowdary and Care Hospitals Chairman K Somaraju.

On the other hand, BJP MLA Nagam Janardhan Reddy, Yennam Srinivas Reddy, Yedla Laxminarayana also called on the BJP's poll panel chief. State BJP president G Kishan Reddy was seen busy in coordinating the programme and making arrangements. City police from different police stations have been deployed at the entrance of the hotel. They allowed the persons who carried a prior permission. A police hurt when a car of a delegator hit him before entering the hotel. Mild tension prevailed after the media were not permitted to cover the arrival of different personalities. At the same time, aspiring politicians of the BJP were found trying to have glimpse of their leader.


Film actor Nandamuri Balakrishna invited Narendra Modi to his second daughter’s wedding to be held on Aug 21.
He requested Modi to leave his presence on the auspicious day. Manda Krishna Madiga urged Narendra Modi to extend his support for classification of SC communities. On the other hand, R Krishnaiah wanted the chief minister to strive for introducing BC Sub-plan.
