Vidyasagar rules out UT status for Hyderabad

Speaking at a programme organised by Telangana Journalists Union (TJU) here on Thursday, he even dismissed the talk about Centre retaining law and order powers pertaining to Hyderabad. The BJP senior leader lauded journalist Shoaibullah Khan for his courage and dedication to his job even taking on the might of Nizam over atrocities in the region. Besides Telangana Praja Front leader M Ved Kumar, members of TJU namely Kappara Prasad, Kasani Srinivas Rao, Janga Reddy and others took part.

Meanwhile, Telangana Journalists Forum conducted a meeting at Chappal Bazar Chowrastha to commemorate death anniversary of Shoaibullah Khan. Speaking on the occasion, T JAC chief Prof. Kodandaram urged the journalist community to draw inspiration from Shoaibullah Khan. He also sought installation of the late journalist’s statue in Hyderabad besides christening Lingampally route after him.
