A sub post office was inaugurated in Mathrusri Nagar, Miyapur, on Thursday by Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi. It will be providing postal services to the residents of Mathrusri Nagar and its surrounding areas. The services offered by this post office are booking of registered letter, registered parcel, value payable, business post, speed post articles, and money orders.
The post office will be offering savings bank services like issue of Kisan Vikas Patras, National Savings Certificates, SB, RD, SCSS, TD and MIS and also accepts electricity bills, water bills, telephone bills, recharges of all mobile operators, property tax, examination fees, insurance (LIC, ICICI Prudential, TATA AIA, SBI etc.) through ‘Sunayasam’ facility. My stamp service is also available, in which any individual can have his photograph on the postage stamp instantly at this post office. Chief postmaster general BV Sudhakar, postmaster general M Eleesha and others were present on the occasion.
