A day after taking charge as special officer of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Somesh Kumar inspected several areas of east and north zone. He directed zonal commissioners and deputy commissioners of the both the zones to take up works pertaining to proposed development of lakes and graveyards.

He directed zonal commissioners and deputy commissioners of the both the zones to take up works pertaining to proposed development of lakes and graveyards. The Special Officer directed officials to modernise graveyards at Malkajgiri and Kushaiguda and the lakes Nalla Chervu in Uppal and RK Puram Chervu at the earliest.
