Bhaskara Rao’s last rites performed

Director Byrishetty Bhaskara Rao’s last rites were performed in the city on Monday. Bhaskara Rao, who made films like ‘Gruhapravesam’, ‘Srivaru’, ‘Chal Mohana Ranga’, ‘Radha, My Darling’, ‘Mama Kodalu’, among other films, passed away on Saturday. The Telangana filmmaker with 18 films to his credit, made his debut as a director with ‘Manushulu Matti Bommalu’. The film went on to win the Nandi Award for Best Story. He is survived by his wife and daughter.
