The National Joint Council of Action of Central Government Employees\' Organisations of NCJCM has decided to form a State Joint Council of Action for AP and Telangana and SCR zones. The council ratified the declaration to go on an indefinite strike on December 11 to demand wage revision for every five years, withdrawal of PPP, FDI and outsourcing in Railways and defence establishments, scrapping of new pension scheme and removal of .bonus ceiling.

The National Joint Council of Action of Central Government Employees' Organisations of NCJCM has decided to form a State Joint Council of Action for AP and Telangana and SCR zones. The council ratified the declaration to go on an indefinite strike on December 11 to demand wage revision for every five years, withdrawal of PPP, FDI and outsourcing in Railways and defence establishments, scrapping of new pension scheme and removal of .bonus ceiling.

The State Joint Council of Action of AP, Telangana State and SCR Zone has been constituted with leaders from the south. The Central Railway Mazdoor Union, South Central Railway Employees Sangh, AIDEF and CCGEW have unanimously elected Prabhikar Andrews, president, SCRES, as chairman and Ch Sankara Rao, general secretary, SCRMU, as its convener. The State Level JCA consists nine representatives from each organisation of Central Government employees.

“It has been decided to convene a state level convention on January 28 at Secunderabad to chalk out future programmes for going on an indefinite strike to achieve our genuine demands,” said Ch Shankar Rao.
