Hyderabad: DCP(C) VB Kamalasan Reddy on Monday inaugurated 31 Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras installed by the Association of Jagdish Market Shopping Centre, Abids. The DCP appreciated the efforts of the association in securing the commercial area with the cameras.

He said installation of surveillance cameras would help preventing crime and allow better policing. “The CCTV recording would be connected to police command control. Cognizable crimes like property offences, etc would be prevented to a great extent,” Reddy said. Additional DCP (C) M Ram Mohan Rao, Assistant ACP (Abids) P Jaipal and association members of Jagdish Market were also present on the occasion.
