Water Board seizes defaulters’ assets

The Water Board on Friday confiscated assets of a defaulter in Dilsukhnagar. The defaulter had dues amounting to Rs 83,512 and was served a notice. Among other things, a bike, a computer, furniture and sewing machines were seized. The confiscation was carried out in the presence of chief general manager P Ravi, general manager (engg.) C Raja and officials of the vigilance wing of the Water Board.

Water Board MD M Jagadeeshwar reiterated that the Board would not tolerate defaulters and consumers are requested to make payments promptly.
