Students take out on an impromptu rally demanding job notification

After a hiatus of ten months and for the first time after the formation of the separate Telangana State, Osmania University was on the boil again on Tuesday. Scenes that unfurled at the varsity were reminiscent of those that took place during the movement of a separate T-State. The students took out a rally from the Arts College to the NCC Gate demanding immediate release of the job notification by the government.

The students raised slogans against the TRS government for not releasing the notification even after 10 months after the formation of the government. They flayed the CM for back tracking on the pre-poll promises. “We were promised jobs. Where are they and where is the notification?” cried out the students. The rally was blocked at the NCC Gate by the police, who were armed which it resulted in a mild tensions.
