National Energy Conservation Day

As part of celebrating ‘National Energy Conservation Day’, which was on December 14, students of Chirec Interact Club organised an ‘Energy Conservation Campaign’ at three locations in the city.
Beginning early at 6.30am from Hyderabad Bicycling Club, the children walked through Sanjeevaiah Park and Necklace Road. Later, a cyclathon was held.
Srinitha Harish Rao flagged off the event, in which parents along with school management participated. Later, Chirec Interact Club initiated the Chirec 3G (Go Green Goals) pledge according to which students and parents will take up making the city eco-friendly and green.“We request all citizens to switch off power for one hour tonight from 7pm,” said Rao.
