Updating your phone operating system has become standard procedure for smartphones users. However, these last months this operation has resulted in a total blocking of devices for many Iphone 6 and 6Plus owners who attempted to obtain IOS9 software.

The cause? "Error 53", which makes the phone unusable.

Users who have had their button "home" repaired seem to be the ones involved, located at the bottom of the device, equipped with a fingerprint sensor. Error 53 would be triggered during IOS software update, if the phone was repaired by a non-recognised Apple organization.
